    Winner of two Na Hoku Hanohano awards: Most Promising Artist and Best Jazz Album. From singing opera, musical, stage production (Ulalena), fronting modern alternative rock band "Missing Dave", being a member of funk band "Toyz of Pleasure" and R&B group "Eight-O-Eight". She was also a jazz headliner on the Star of Honolulu and performed as a background vocalist on the "Lani Misalucha Show, Return to Paradise".

    DeShannon is a renowned jazz trumpet player in Hawaii and New York City with over 20 years of professional experience. Artist Update: The festival would like to apologize and we are disappointed that due to issues with US Immigration, Kaori Kobayashi is unable to perform for our event. Ray Parker Jr will be performing at the festival.


We are proud to present the Third Annual Pacific Rim Jazz Festival at The Hawaii Convention Center. With the success of our first two years we hope to continue our tradition of providing World Class entertainment and feature artists who are not only exceptionally talented on their voice and instruments but are also great performers and a thrill to watch. Along with these artist we are also proud to feature some of our best Local Entertainers, Chefs and Restaurants. In maintaining our connection with the community we will also help raise money for scholarship programs for our children. Last year we managed to raise over 30,000 dollars for these programs!

Located at the entrance to Hawaii's famous resort destination Waikiki, the Hawaii Convention Center provides a convenient location for all to attend. For those of you visiting our site from the US mainland, Asia and around the world we invite you to come and experience the best that Hawaii has to offer, Great Entertainment, Great Food and our world famous Hawaiian Hospitality! The Third annual Pacific Rim Jazz Festival, a unique entertainment experience for the people of Hawaii and our visitors to Hawaii!
